So after three days of thunderstorms, I was very anxious to get back out on the water. Took the hobie mirage out for a couple of hours and got a few large mouths on brown and green senkos. you can't go wrong with tossing the senko under and around bridge supports. most of the catches were back to back casts in the exact same spot under the bridge. The charles river is a little crowded with all the friggin' brighton row house people, but if you stay off to the sides its not all to bad. The charles is a sure thing for largemouths if you stick to the bridges and sidewalls. If you venture to far from structure the only thing you will get are slime darts, and we apparently all feel the same about them here at MAFF lol....

Took a boat trip through the canal and across the bay to provincetown town over the weekend and the striped bass were in full swing. Started jigging diamond jigs because it looked just like the bait fish that were there. With no luck we switched to umbrella rig trolling and had success. Couple keepers and a beautiful day all around. There were a lot of boats there and i was impressed with the how good everyone was keeping clear of each others lines.
